Who You Are:
The mission of the Broadband Services Operations - TL is to:
- Ensures the availability of broadband services in production, respecting the SLA and guaranteeing leading skills to quickly manage service and infrastructural events;
- Develops a reference knowledge of end-to-end services ensuring the technical mastery of each system and subsystem involved;
- Provides design support, configures and manages the baseband satellite infrastructures;
- Provides expertise for dedicated activities involving B2B customer, ensuring a high level of service quality;
- Provides support to manages and maintains satellite network access systems, applications and ground equipment;
- Acts as an interface among the different teams within the operations department and keep communications with 3rd parties and vendors;

What You’ll Do:
- Be a reference for service fulfilment of business services;
- Provide technical service mastery through connectivity OPS on a variety of VSAT networks and broadband platforms;
- Contribute to requirements of any operating tools (service fulfilment & assurance), required for provisioning and monitoring of any services offered to customers;
- Contribute to company problem and change management processes;
- Contribute to analyse serious faults and prepare plan for network improvements;
- Identify proactive actions to prevent issue on platform components, tools and databases, aiming at improved service availability and high customer satisfaction;
- Contribute to the preparation of network service architecture in accordance with SLA and existing infrastructure;
- Be a reference for scoping, evaluating and supervising implementation of connectivity services;
- Contribute to the feasibility validation of any proposed service SLAs.
What it Takes:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or related fields;
- 3+ years of experience in the telecommunications sector, with a focus on the service operations;
- In-depth knowledge of satellite communications, radio-frequency and video broadcasting;
- Strong knowledge of ISO/OSI stack, networking and routing (e.g., OSPF, MPLS) protocols;
- Knowledge of Unix-based computer operating systems, networking tools (i.e., Telnet, SSH, FTP/SCP) and standard business software (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations);
- Experience in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and knowledge of database management (e.g. MySQL, InfluxDB, Clickhouse);
- Mastery troubleshooting skills v Flexibility and adaptability to extra-time schedule;
- Detail oriented with interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Ability to work in a team with on-call rotation;
- Problem solving and analytic skills;
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with network connections, wireless signals, and internet connectivity;
- Interact with other teams in the company and provide technical support and advice;
- Fluent written and spoken English is compulsory.
What We’d Love:
- Specific experience in satellite telecommunications and/or networking;
- Experience in configuring networking devices and Juniper/Cisco certifications;
- UNIX/LINUX certifications;
- Knowledge of other languages.
