Electrical Systems and Software Test Engineer

As an electrical test engineer, you will be involved in the planning, execution, and documentation of tests for electrical components and propulsion systems. Your role will also include active participation in establishing the test facility and preparing plans and reports on testing in accordance with qualification requirements.

What will your main scope be?

Design and assemble test devices needed to execute functional and environmental protection tests.
Execute tests according to the device qualification/certification plan or according to DE's instructions.
Create harness kits/wiring needed for executing electric device qualification tests.
Assist in setting up test facilities for battery, electric propulsion and avionics testing.
Assist in performing tests at external facilities when the test equipment is not available in house.
Create test plans for electric device qualification and after the tests are performed submit the final test reports/results to the appropriate DEs/CVEs.

What do we expect from the candidate?

A degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
Basic or advanced knowledge of electrical propulsion systems.
Familiarity with at least one of the electrical/mechanical software programs such as Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, KiCad, etc.
Experience with handling measuring equipment.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Proactiveness, self-initiative, and teamwork orientation.
Ability to think outside the box.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
