- DCUBED is pioneering the future of In-Space Manufacturing, we are building an innovative space crew;
- We are seeking an individual to design the flight electronics and control software to support us In-Space Manufacturing (ISM) team with the development of custom electronics for the flight hardware;
- You will be responsible for the development of software to monitor and control flight hardware operations;
- We require the engineer to design and build the electrical support equipment;
- You will be instrumental in supporting the AIT of our Electrical products including Product QA support;
- We will also provide you with opportunities to explore our Robotic Applications of DCUBED's ISM portfolio.
HERE IS WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Your Background:
- BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering + 3 years relevant experience; or
- MS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering + 1 year of relevant experience;
- Experience with PCB design and assembly;
- Microcontroller programming in C/C++;
- Circuit design of control hardware (motor/actuator control, sensor readout, real-time camera data, logging);
- Software design for control hardware and interfacing to launch providers via protocols;
- Solar array power interface design;
- Experience with programming in Python;
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have requirements:
- Proven record of electronics development for space applications;
- Experience with the development of robotic arms;
- Development of GUIs.
