Responsibilities
Working as part of the R&D team, and reporting to the Avionics Lead, the Hardware Integration Engineer will be responsible of the following:
- Supporting the development/integration of the avionics architecture and introduction of new avionics hardware;
- Analyzing avionics components’ analog and digital interfaces;
- Liaising with avionics hardware manufacturers;
- Managing avionics hardware equipment configuration;
- Maintaining/Upgrading the avionics Hardware In the Loop test rigs;
- Conducting the integration tests on the avionics HIL test rigs;
- Supporting Avionics hardware integration and troubleshooting on the aircrafts, in the assembly line and the flight line;
- Preparing documents such as Test Plans, Test Reports, Interface Control Documents, Engineering Reports, Equipment Configuration Sheets.
Job requirements
- A degree or equivalent in avionics, aeronautics or other relevant subject;
- Awareness of aviation environment including norms, standards, and certification requirements;
- Experience of avionics hardware including autopilot, navigation, and communication systems;
- Knowledges of standard digital interfaces such as CAN, RS-232, RS-485;
- Demonstrable experience in configuration, integration and test of avionics systems;
- Experience with system testing and troubleshooting on test rigs or on aircraft;
- Experience in using Microsoft and Google software suite applications;
- Good oral and written communication skills.
