What will you be doing here?
Reporting into a senior member of the Engineering Team, you will be responsible for:
- Testing of electronic assemblies to a prescribed process using common lab test equipment (Oscilloscope, DVM, PSU);
- Identifying and documenting failures/issues and providing support to electronics engineering to identify solutions;
- Using basic hardware and software tools to simplify/automate testing, e.g. USB-I2C or USB-UART adapters and command line scripts;
- Design protype and implement a range of automated PCB test jigs to allow handover to production testing;
- Produce relevant design documentation to enable the procurement and build of test equipment.
We are looking for the following skills:
- Educated to at least degree - level or equivalent in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline;
- Experience in testing PCB's to component level;
- Experience using ECAD software- ideally Altium is beneficial;
- Automation Software Experience would be desirable. C, Python, etc.
