ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Ground Station Maintenance Engineer to join Redu Space Services (RSS), a subsidiary of SES in the Redu location in Belgium!
With this role, you will join a team of experts who support RSS with corrective and preventative maintenance of facilities infrastructure and antennas, but also with helpdesk services 24/7. In this role, you will work with various teams across the business, but also with RSS's customers.

You will be responsible for (this is not an exhaustive list)
- Be accountable for preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment and infrastructure, coordinating with the Maintenance Control Board;
- Technical Management of Hard services subcontractors on RSS infrastructure (Power plant, HVAC…);
- Maintenance of Satellite Ground Segment antennas;
- Maintain logbooks up to date, including reporting, on assigned equipment or systems to ensure it operates in a safe, timely, effective, and efficient manner;
- Execute work orders and follow up within defined timeframes;
- Be accountable for a clear and effective communication with customers and suppliers;
- Participate in new systems installation and/or modification of existing installation, if required;
- Generate technical documents and anomaly reports;
- Initiate procurement activities by finding the correct and needed items;
- Participate in the Helpdesk team on-call services to ensure a 24/7 response time and service restoration;
- Perform Level 0/ Level1 corrective maintenance following customer requests or work orders.
YOUR PROFILE
Must have
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; electromechanics, electronics, mechanics;
- Willingness to travel abroad to perform interventions;
- Good analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems alone or with a team;
- Fluency in English.
Nice to Have
- Good knowledge of Satellite Ground Segment and/or Optical Ground Stations.
