RF/Electronics Engineer (Avionics)

Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize RF communication systems for high-performance applications;
- Develop and refine printed circuit board (PCB) layouts to ensure signal integrity and minimize noise;
- Implement RF circuit design, including amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, and filters;
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing and mitigation;
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate RF systems with broader electronic and mechanical systems;
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of RF circuits and systems, including signal analysis and troubleshooting;
- Engage in antenna design, tuning, and validation to enhance communication system performance;
- Work on the implementation of RF circuits on various platforms, including FPGA, RF DACs and ACDs and microcontroller-based systems;
- learning and applying new skills as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field;
- Solid foundation in RF communication principles and electronics;
- Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad;
- Experience with RF simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or ADS;
- Familiarity with programming languages like C and C++;
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI testing and signal integrity analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven expertise in RF circuit design and testing, including experience with advanced RF components and techniques;
- Knowledge of HDL;
- Previous experiences with SDR (Software Defined Radio) and Python;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of working Independent or as part of a team;
- A passion for electronics and communication technology, with a continuous drive to learn and apply recent technologies;
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
