We are seeking a resourceful and motivated AOCS Mission Analysis Engineer to play a key role in the design, optimization, and operation of Attitude and Orbit Control Systems for satellite missions. The ideal candidate will work across the mission lifecycle, from preliminary design to on-orbit operations, contributing technical expertise to ensure mission success.

As AOCS Mission Analysis Engineer, you will:

  • Perform AOCS analysis for satellite missions during key projects phases, including PDR and CDR, to ensure alignment of mission requirements with subsystem design and performance
  • Perform on-orbit commissioning for newly launched satellites and investigate anomalies during mission operations
  • Contribute to the constant development of the AOCS simulator, by implementing new features and models, investigating anomalies, and optimizing analysis workflow
  • Support the AIT phase in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the AOCS during spacecraft integration testing
  • Serve as the primary liaison for customers and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing clarification on AOCS-related matters
  • Support the development of new algorithms and reviewing their integration into the AOCS simulator

We expect you to have:

  • Solid understanding of rigid body dynamics (translational and rotational) and orbital dynamics
  • Advanced knowledge of attitude determination algorithms and control systems
  • 2–3 years of experience with MATLAB and Simulink for modelling and simulating dynamics systems and control systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in data analysis and AOCS system optimization
  • Proficient in professional, clear, and effective English communication, both verbal and written, tailored to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to maximize productivity and meet deadlines, with the ability to work independently and maintain high-quality output with minimal supervision

  • Knowledge of AIT (Assembly, Integration and Testing) processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with mission operations, including Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP) procedures
  • Programming in C and C++
  • Familiarity with spacecraft hardware and components used in ADCS systems
  • Experience with flight software development and integration
  • Experience in writing high-quality technical documentation
