We are seeking a PA/QA Expert with proven experience in hardware and software projects, preferably in the Defense and/or Aerospace sectors.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with standards at all project phases, from design to implementation.
Tasks to be performed:
- Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, or other applicable standards);
- Implement and manage quality assurance (QA) and product assurance (PA) processes in hardware and software projects;
- Conduct internal and external quality audits;
- Define and oversee quality plans and validation and verification processes;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of hardware and software systems;
- Ensure compliance with specific regulations in the Defense and/or Aerospace sectors;
- Manage non-conformities and propose continuous improvement plans;
- Prepare technical reports and quality documentation.
Required skills, experience and candidate profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PA/QA roles;
- Experience in projects involving hardware and software;
- Advanced knowledge of standards and regulations in the Defense and Aerospace sectors (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, ECSS, MIL-STD);
- Degree in Engineering or a related field;
- Skills in auditing and quality control tools;
- Proficiency in technical English (spoken and written).
Additionally, we will also value experience in the following areas:
- Experience in certifications or validations in regulated environments.
