Our Engineering team is looking for a Thermal Engineer who is passionate about our mission and able to support the design of thermal control system (TCS) for spacecraft and do thermal design for electronic, propulsion and optical subsystems.
The new colleague will be part of the AIT & Design Unit and will have the opportunity to be involved in all phases of the projects from preliminary design to test phases.

DUTIES
The role includes mechanical and thermal design and numerical simulations, and you will be able to work with a team of passionate and collaborative engineers supporting the development of new products.
These activities will include:
- Design and test of active and passive thermal control systems (ATCS, PTCS);
- Thermal modeling and analysis of Spacecraft and Subsystems;
- Post processing of test data for thermal model correlation;
- Preparation of technical documentation and test procedures;
- Mechanical prototyping of thermal hardware;
- Assembly and integration of thermal hardware in ISO7 and ISO5 cleanroom environment;
- Manage relationship with thermal hardware supplier and customers;
- Coordinate thermal design and test activities within the AIT & Design Unit.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Aerospace/Energy/Mechanical engineering;
- At least 5+ years of working experience;
- High flexibility and team-working skills.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & SKILLS
- Previous experience in projects (industrial and/or academic) in the space industry;
- Previous experience in managing and coordinating thermal activities within a team;.
- Previous experience in TCS design for spacecraft;
- Previous experience with TVAC tests;
- Good knowledge of SolidWorks;
- Good knowledge of ESATAN-TMS;
- Good knowledge of ECSS standard;
- Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
- Hands-on and proactive approach, willing to collaborate wherever is needed;
- Knowledge of MIL/Space Standards;
- Ability to work with tight schedules.
