Skylo Technologies seeks a highly motivated Engineering Program Manager to lead and track engineering projects in telecommunications, including RAN, Core Networks, and external initiatives. The role involves managing cross-functional teams, collaborating with vendors and stakeholders, and proactively addressing potential challenges. This individual will also communicate detailed project statuses and must have a strong technical background in networking and telecommunications.
How You Will Contribute
- Oversee the day-to-day project and engineering program activities and their status, drive their completion from the planning stage to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time;
- Serve as the primary contact for external customers and vendors regarding project statuses, issues, and deliverables;
- Drive non-engineering tasks such as hosting meetings, addressing queries from engineering, sales, vendors, and product management teams;
- Escalate issues to the appropriate engineering teams and ensure they clearly understand priorities;
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria;
- Work cross-functionally to develop and refine project timelines, product requirements, company defined OKRs;
- Conduct post-project evaluations to gather learnings, retrospective feedback, and implement process improvements;
- Effective upward communication and timely escalation are essential.
What We Look For
- Bachelors degree in technical degree such as Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or equivalent;
- 5+ years of experience in project and engineering program management, focused on telecommunications or wireless industry;
- Additional expertise in projects across Core, RAN and other telecom technologies;
- Proficiency in waterfall, scrum, and agile methodologies;
- Experience with program management tools such as JIRA;
- Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, clients, network operators, chipset manufacturers);
- Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities;
- Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills.
