Job Description
The individual will serve as the coordinator of space projects with clients, acting as the main point of contact for the client and stakeholders. They will also be responsible for coordinating the activities of the technical team involved in the project, as well as tracking costs, deliverables, and deadlines.
Position Tasks and Responsibilities
The following tasks will be assigned:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Plan projects and monitor their progress;
- Identify risks and other potential obstacles in project development;
- Manage communication with clients and stakeholders, track action items, address issues, and negotiate scope changes;
- Coordinate meetings and milestone reviews with the client;
- Coordinate the technical team from various areas to achieve project objectives;
- Track project costs and time according to the project plan and internal processes;
- Communicate project metrics, risks, and deviations to the operations team.
Candidate qualifications and skills
The individual must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or another technical field.
Required experience and skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in managing technical projects;
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to international clients and stakeholders;
- Proactive approach to problem-solving;
- Good organizational skills;
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1 equivalent).
Desirable qualifications and skills:
- Knowledge of PMI and agile methodologies;
- Academic background in engineering;
- Experience with aerospace projects applying ECSS management standards;
- Familiarity with ISO9001 and similar quality standards;
- Experience in team management;
- Experience working with technical requirements.
The individual must have good communication skills and be capable of working autonomously and effectively while collaborating in a potentially international and culturally diverse team.
Additionally, the individual should possess strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills, along with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and an interest in technology development.
