Exotrail is looking for a Mechanical Architect to join its In-Orbit Services team and develop our fleet of spacevan™ in LEO and in GEO. Our satellites, operated by Exotrail, perform logistic services for our clients like transportation after launch to a specific orbital position, mobility of existing satellites, or operation of hosted payloads.
The main role of this architect will be to participate in and manage the development, procurement and validation of all structural elements of the satellite and be a key contributor to the procurement of all the sub-systems of the spacecraft with a focus on mechanical interfaces and qualifications.
Your operational manager will be the program manager, and your hierarchical manager will be the Mechanical and Thermal Team Leader of the In-orbit Services team.
At Exotrail, we are looking for talents willing to embrace a large scope of activities. This position requires candidates interested in developing their skills from deep technical tasks to project overview and management.
Exotrail is looking for an engineer with hands-on experience on the design of spacecrafts, from early stages of design to assembly and tests. The candidate must be interest in technical work, on high-level requirements but also on design, simulation, assembly and test.
The candidate must have at least 7 years of experience, with at least 4 years working on mechanical architecture on space systems.
The candidate must be fluent in English as it is used daily in Exotrail form both written and oral exchanges.
