We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team and consolidate and expand our presence in the space sector. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth in a highly specialized industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Promotes and sells a dedicated portfolio for potential opportunities for export sales, both from TAS in Spain and from TAS Domain Equipment.
- Takes in orders (international sales function) through actions, ranging from pre-sales in cooperation with the KAMs and Business Development teams up to the end stages of sales finalization.
- Defines the international sales strategy for a project or, more broadly speaking, the sales approach in relation to a specific account in a target region/country, working in conjunction with the SAM/KAM.
- Ensures customer satisfaction in cooperation with the KAM through appropriate initiatives, addressing problems and complaints on a case-by-case basis.
- Contributes to promote upsell or market penetration opportunities with SAM/KAM.
- Able to successfully negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales in line with expectations in an international environment.
- Captures information on aspects such as risks & opportunities, marketing and sales, to share in the GBU (including Bid/project teams), develops awareness of customer environment.
- Manages the team and has the ability to anticipate forecast.
- Summarizes and monitors order intake forecasts.
- Runs the export sales teams and ensures that the necessary interactions take place with the countries, in particular through opportunity pipeline reviews, Sitcom meetings, and Business Forums.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to understand technical offerings and effectively communicate value to clients.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering. A background in aerospace engineering or a technical field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.
- Strong knowledge of the space sector, including satellite technology, launch services, or space-based communications.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
