Job Overview:

You will work at the hearth of our Connectivity Business unit and will report directly to the Head of Asset management.

The Satellite Capacity Engineer will have a central role in identifying and assigning capacity for services to optimize the use, loading and yield of the satellites of the Eutelsat Group.

What You’ll Do:

• Communicate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure goals are met;
• Responsible for the identification of assignment of capacity for new services or renewals;
• Optimize the resources allocation within Eutelsat fleet, including preparing and coordinating transfer plans within transponders and also between satellites;
• Ensure smooth transfers of services between transponders and satellites, by preparing transfer plans, minimising outages;
• Coordinate with Strategy, Technical & Business Unit departments to cover satellites outages;
• Assist in the implementation of restoration plans for satellite partial or total failure as per commercial/technical directives;
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Capacity allocation that align with Eutelsat’s goal.

What You’ll Need:

• Master's degree in Telecommunication or Satellite Engineer;
• Proficiency in English (any other language is a plus);
• Experience in telecom or space sector;
• Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to pro-actively engage with all the stakeholders involved in the sales cycle.
