IDE - Intracom Defense
Koropi, Greece
Why You Should Join Us:
IDE is in the process of becoming the first approved Aeronautical Design Organization in Greece and one of the few globally, focused on Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Our mission is to develop and produce innovative yet safe UAS for the defense and civilian markets. We’re on the lookout for an Aeronautical Design Engineer with a passion for aircraft stability & control. If you're ready to take the lead and drive innovation, IDE is where you belong.
What You ‘ll Be Doing:
Participate in the entire aircraft design and development cycle of state-of-the-art fixed-wing small and tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for defense and security applications, including certification
Interact with:
- Structural and aerodynamics aeronautical engineers to perform trade-off studies concerning planform layout, aerodynamic characteristics, etc.;
- CFD analysts, to specify requirements for both low- and high-fidelity analyses and to extract results for stability and control;
- Flight control system engineers to provide them with digital models for closed stability and control loops of autopilots;
- Compile and release stability & control reports throughout all aircraft design phases;
- Analyze the results of flight tests and release the corresponding reports;
- Interface with stakeholders in design reviews, test reports and project meetings.
