To strengthen our team we are looking for a: PROJECT QUALITY MANAGER - SPACE (f/m/d).

YOUR TASKS

In this role, you will advise and support all parties involved in a spaceflight project to ensure that the requirements regarding Product Assurance are implemented in the best possible way. The primary goal of Product Assurance is to ensure that spaceflight products fulfill their defined mission objectives in a safe, available, and reliable manner. This includes, among other things, the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Review and analysis of Product Assurance/Quality requirements before order acceptance;
  • Risk assessment and impact analysis of the required product safety, as well as communication of findings to project management and company leadership;
  • Creation and further development of internal company documents for spaceflight projects, as well as externally required documentation (e.g., Documentation and Configuration Management Plan);
  • Development of product-specific manufacturing processes in collaboration with various departments to ensure the necessary quality steps are implemented;
  • Regular coordination with customers as the direct Project Quality contact in various spaceflight projects, from the proposal and development phase to product delivery;
  • Execution of Product Assurance audits and monitoring of Configuration Management, both internally and at external partners/suppliers;
  • Facilitation of risk analyses, such as FMEAs (Functional, Design, Process).

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed technical education (HTL, FH or university);
  • Several years of professional experience (ideally in technical or manufacturing companies);
  • Preferably the following knowledge:
    • ISO 9001/EN9100;
    • ECSS-Q;
    • FMEA;
    • Audit experience.
  • Structured, plan-based and process-orientated way of working;
  • Personal responsibility and commitment;
  • Strong implementation skills with a pronounced solution-orientation;
  • Very good written and spoken English skills.
