Instrumentation and Control Junior Engineer

Currently working in propulsion systems and components for satellites and launchers, we are looking to fill a position for a Junior Engineer with a focus on the areas of Physics and Instrumentation.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Participate in the assembly, integration and testing of electric thrusters operating in high vacuum setups;
- Participate in the design and development of electronic measurement, actuation and control subsystems, test facilities and ground support equipment;
- Establish technical and product assurance documentation for developed subsystems;
- Support procurement activities.
Mandatory requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, or another relevant area of study;
- Comfortable with the principles of instrumentation, data acquisition and control, vacuum technology and electromagnetism;
- Knowledge of programming and software development (C, Python);
- Academic or professional experience in electronic hardware assembly and laboratory equipment (instruments, vacuum, fluids);
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
Preferential:
- Academic or professional experience with CAD programs (SolidWorks);
- Academic or professional experience in programming microcontrollers;
- Academic or professional experience in LabVIEW;
- Ability to work independently and organize tasks efficiently;
- Good communication skills and enjoyment of working in a small team;
- Problem-solving oriented attitude.
