Job Description
- Collaborate with the team to support the development and deployment of IO’s ground segment software.
- Assist in the integration of network solutions with different simulators and systems that the company is working on, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Draft requirements for mission operations software and ground segment communications.
- Design sequence diagrams and network topologies for Infinite Orbits’ missions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP, and others.
- Experience in deploying web applications. This includes working with web servers, understanding client-server architecture, and familiarity with common web development frameworks and tools.
- Coding skills in Python, Java, or C/C++.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools.
- Pro-activeness and ability to work in a self-directed, fast-paced and result-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of network security practices and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Good to have:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies, such as VMware, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of space communication systems and standards such as ECSS and CCSDS.
- The French language is a plus.
