Propulsion Engineer - Valves

Your missions and responsibilities will be as follows:
- Be responsible of the numerical simulations on the fluidic equipment, in particular valves;
- Lead the design improvements on the engine architecture and on the valves;
- Lead the technical specifications to guarantee the performances of the engine;
- Participate to the analysis of the simulations, test preparation and test results;
- Work in collaboration with the other department to optimize the design and the costs;
- Write the technical documentation associated to the work performed.
We are looking for collaborators who invest and adapt themselves quickly:
- Engineer degree or Master degree with a major in aerospace, combustion or energetic;
- You have 5 to 10 years of experience in design and development of rocket engines or valves;
- You have a good knowledge of the industrial sector of the cryogenic valves;
- You master the thermodynamic phenomena related to the supercritical and transcritical fluids as well as the cavitation phenomena;
- Good skills in programming language (Python, MATLAB or equivalent);
- Good skill in Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (CATIA, Solidworks, 3DExperience);
- Capacity to work in team and in autonomy;
- Knowledge of launcher environment would be an asset;
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
