We are looking for a Aerodynamics UAV Engineer with the mission to design, develop and optimize UAV systems and components.
Tasks to be performed:
- Aerodynamic design of UAV platforms, both fixed-wing and rotary-wing.
- Knowledge of aerodynamic simulation tools (XFLR5/FLUENT/OPENFOAM) is highly valued.
- Preparation of technical and manufacturing documentation for UAV platforms.
- Preparation and execution of UAV test plans, both in the laboratory and in flight.
Required skills, experience and candidate profile:
- Aeronautical or industrial engineering.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in UAV platforms.
- Experience with Catia or SolidWorks design software.
- Knowledge of aerodynamic calculations and flight mechanics is essential.
- Experience with Matlab, Python or similar software environments for aircraft modelling.
- Knowledge of assembly, manufacturing and maintenance processes for UAV platforms.
- Knowledge of drone piloting is valued.
- Knowledge of aerodynamic simulation tools (XFLR5/FLUENT/OPENFOAM) is valued.
- Level B2-C1 English.
