Exotrail is looking for a Program manager for its space transportation vehicle used to transport satellites from the geotransfer orbit (GTO) to the geostationary orbit (GEO). You will be responsible and accountable for the development of the product from the current preliminary design phase to the support for operations in space. This requires strong project management skills. You will have a functional management of our technical team.
The program includes the development of a satellite platform, the coordination of the development of the ground system to operate the satellite once in space and the coordination with the external stakeholders (customer, regulators). The variety of tasks and sub-projects in this program require an expert in project management, capable of synthesizing information, taking quick decisions, and leading a large group of people.
You will be helped on technical topics by a satellite architect, with whom you will work daily. You will also be supported by many experts in their field as required to manage the program proactively.
You will be a direct report of the Vice-President responsible for the spacevan activities, and have daily interactions with the engineering manager, mission management lead and the other program managers.
For this position, the candidates must have strong experience in project management in the aerospace or defense industries. A minimum of 15 years’ experience, including 5 years of project management, is required for this position.
