What will you do in this role?

• Design and develop the front end features and improvements to ICEYE customers applications, in a well-tested and performant way.
• Improve user experience in close collaboration with our UX Designer and in contact with actual users.
• Contribute to solving technical problems related to operating and maintaining an entire fleet of satellites.
• Collaborate with customers, product managers and other teams to understand business needs, translate them into requirements and reach agreements in terms of scope and priority.
• Follow, maintain and advocate for best coding standards, maintainability and best practices across multiple codebases.

Requirements

What will you need to be successful in this role?

• Front End Expert: With at least 5 years of front end engineering under your belt, you master our tech stack. You are also well-versed in eXtreme Programming (XP) and other technical best practices, such as code reviews, continuous refactoring, and TDD. You know these practices are the key to keeping code clean, maintainable, and collaborative.
• UX Enthusiast: You're passionate about creating smooth, user-friendly experiences that make apps feel natural and engaging.
• CI/CD Expertise: You're familiar with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and take pride in ensuring things run without a hitch.
• Problem-Solver: You're a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills.
• Agile Savvy: You're familiar with Agile development processes and ways of working, like stand-ups, regular planning, and retrospectives. You know how to keep projects on track.
• Team Player: You have excellent communication skills and thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with others to achieve shared goals.
• Computer Science Background: You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or you can wow us with an impressive online frontend portfolio.
