About the role
You will be part of the Engineering team to develop the first hydrogen-electric aircraft from a clean sheet design. You will join an already well established discipline within the company to participate in full aircraft sizing and stress analysis from Concept Phase up to Entry in Service. The first year will be concentrated into improving methodologies, tools, first aircraft analytical and FEM models to define aircraft main aerostructure parts.
Valuable member of the team your role will be:
- Pre-sizing of the aircraft full aero-structure.
- Help improve stress methodologies
- Apply knowledge of advanced structures analysis (e.g., modeling, static, fatigue, damage tolerance, etc.) and materials to determine structural adequacy of the structural solutions
- Deliver engineering judgement, Hand calculation, spreadsheet, FEM (Finite Element Modeling) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) results.
- Preliminary concept phase stress dossier writing
About you
- You have a MSc or bachelor in Stress or mechanical area.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in Aeronautic for an OEM (Airbus, Dassault, Bombardier, Pilatus, etc…) or a Main supplier (Stelia, GKN, Spirit Aerosystems, Aernnova, etc…)
- You have a metallic or composite experience
- You are familiar with stress methodologies used in the industry
- You are interested in end to end approach: from architecture/concept phase to design phase, manufacturing support, Entry In Service (EIS), Fleet support. Not limited to only design office activities
- You are autonomous, curious, and a good team player
- You are able to challenge existing process and your management in a spirit of continuous improvement
- You have an experience in a multi-cultural environment and understand international diversity
