To support our company’s growth we are looking for a Front End Developer to work on our Mission Control Centre, targeting products, such as our mission planning tool and data analysis tool for a variety of space projects ensuring the success of our missions.

As a Front End developer within our Flight Control Unit you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing our user interface, ensuring real-time data visualization, seamless user experiences, and robust performance for out Mission Control Centre applications. You will collaborate with the rest of the team into develop applications that will help monitoring, controlling, and analysing spacecraft missions.

Also, you will help the team developing new 3D web applications that will assist the spacecraft engineer during the missions.

DUTIES

These activities will include:

Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for mission control applications;
Ensure the UI is intuitive, and accessible across various devices and platforms;
Develop and maintain real-time visualization tools to monitor spacecraft and mission parameters;
Develop and maintain 3d web applications to monitor spacecraft status in real-time and non-real-time scenario;
Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate data and ensure seamless data flow;
Maintain and update existing front-end applications to incorporate new features and improvements;
Ensure applications are secure and comply with standard and best practices.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields (any other proven experience in software design and development will be considered as well);
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, CCS Media Queries and JavaScript;
Experience with mobile app development for Android and iOS platforms;
Experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js;
Experience with the most common ccs framework such as Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS;
Experience with the most common build tools such as Webpack, Parcel and Gulp;
Experience with the most common 3d web frameworks such as three.js, Babylon.js, Unit WebGL;
Experience with responsive design;
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling;
Knowledge of version control systems like Git;
Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility;
Familiarity with real-time data processing and WebSocket communication;
Good familiarity with common architecture and software design patterns (best practices);
Fluent in English language, both written and spoken;
Analytical mind and problem-solving, as well as a continuous learning attitude;
Excellent attitude for teamwork and cooperation.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

Knowledge of 3d engines such as Unity;
Knowledge of Virtual Reality web frameworks such as A-frame;
Good knowledge of design tools for creating UI/UX designs and prototypes such as Figma, Sketch Adobe XD;
Good knowledge of UNIX OS fundamentals;
Good skills in software design and development with C and C++;
Experience with CI/CD tools (BitBucket, Jenkins, SonarQube);
Understanding of software and hardware development lifecycle, system design, and agile methodologies;
Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g. Docker) and containers orchestration;
Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
