Job Description
Exotrail thrusters are built of modules, among which, the propellant system module.
We are looking for a Senior Fluidics Engineer to make and handle this module.
Within the Propulsion team, our main responsabilities will be to:
- Act as component and system level responsible engineer and fluid system subject matter expert on multiple product development topics;
- Work in the product development team to develop fluid systems and sub-systems for our products;
- Provide expertise on ground support equipment;
- Plan and execute custom component development and acceptance/qualification testing;
- Support procurement, quoting and suppliers communications;
- Encourage the choice of manufacturing processes and materials based on a thorough comprehension of the product's performance and mechanical engineering;
- Produce reports for approval, create and manage technical files under data management control;
- Verify and check design data and change notices for equipment.
Preferred Experience
- Master’s degree in Fluidic/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering;
- Experience working with common fluid system components valves, regulators, pressure transducers and tanks;
- Experience with leak detection and resolution techniques;
- Capable of solving complex problems with little to no supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Practical experience with fluid systems;
- Advanced knowledge of satellite subsystems and operations;
- Previous experience in a Space company is a nice to have;
- Proficiency with CAD software (Solidworks, Inventor, CATIA V5/6, etc.);
- Experience in performing computational simulations of rarefied flows;
- Experience in capillary flows, experiment design and hypothesis testing;
- Experience in experiment setup and execution;
- Experiment data analysis.
